(Note: This was initially scheduled for May 9, 2009, but we changed it to not be on Mother's Day Weekend and to support a local Boy Scout activity.)
The Conroe Yacht Club is hosting its 12th and 13th Messabouts.
The messabout is a laid back affair where small sailing craft, kayaks, canoes and rowboats meet to enjoy each others boats! Conroe Yacht Club is a busy place on weekends. They ask that we park out of the way, bring no pets and have fun!

Directions:
Conroe Yache Club is located 10 miles West of Conroe on HiWay 105 in the Walden Subdivision.
From Hiway 105 in Conroe, come to Walden Road - there is a newer Wal Mart on the North side of 105 - There is a lite at this intersection.
Coming from the West, you may want to come thru Montgomery. Walden Road is at a Traffic light. It is the next light AFTER FM2854. There is a sign for Walden. When you see the Wal-Mart, you have gone too far.

Proceed North on Walden Road. The road will gradually turn right and become generally East bound. IGNORE the sign for Walden Yacht Club (a nice place, but no messasbout!). Proceed past the tennis courts on the right. After you swear you have gone too far, you will come to River Road - turn left and go about 100 yards to the blue fence with the name "Conroe Yacht Club". Turn right and go about 1000 feet to the club. The road is not on the map below, but it parallels Walden Road. Once inside the yacht club property, turn left and go towords the lake. Drop you boat and chairs and we will tell you where to park for the day.
The box with "CYC" is the yacht club.
